The Dante Alighieri with the University of Miami hosts a
special evening event free and open to the public. Prof. Furlan
will present a virtual immersion experience of Ancient Rome
through a new DVD/CD-ROM created by a staff of
archaeologists and university professors. The DVD-Rom
Ancient Rome Tour is a virtual navigation in space and time
through the evolution of the urban and architectonic tissue of
the Eternal City. Access to the most important monuments is
provided either through an alphabetical and chronological list,
or by sailing from a bird's eye view above and into a complete
model of the ancient city
Friday 19th SLIDE SHOW: Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi by Ulrich Merten at
the Dante 7 pm. In collaboration with the Alliance Francaise.

Saturday 24th SLIDE SHOW: Pisa by Alice Goldhagen @ the Dante at 7pm
Alice Goldhagen is taking us to Piemonte. She will introduce us
to the 5 Barolo wine villages with some of their vineyards,
castles and the surrounding countryside; the city of Alba and its
center with its beautiful arcades.
Wine and appetizer will be served after the conference.
